Heavy snow in London is a rare thing. Yesterday, I took the kids to the park and made this video with my Flip Ultra HD.
What is it with Flip Video owners and balloons? They just can’t help seeing if their Flips’ can fly. Maybe they are replacing their old Flip Video Camera with a Flip Ultra HD 3rd Generation model?
‘Peaceful Liquid Shell’ is a track from the ‘Unwinding Hours’. The video was shot on a Sony Bloggie (only joking) it’s shot on a Flip Camera of course.
Directed and Edited by the bands keyboard player Brendan Smith.
See more info at Chemikal Underground Records.
UPDATE: You can read an interview with the Director here.
Check out this weird stereoscopic video made with two Flip Video Cameras pictured below.

This has nothing to do with the Flip – but if you love video and interactive video advertising you should check out this viral from Tippex.
This video is kind of intriguing, it’s filmed during the making of “We are the Hartmans”.
A Flip Video on hand at a movie shoot is useful to build some pre-release buzz. Don’t worry too much about the tech quality, it’s not the actual movie! Better to shoot the atmosphere than miss out on some juicy content for the Web marketing effort.
Marketing the Film is Cielito Pascual who explains more how the team are using the Flip Camera: Read the rest of this entry »
A Flip attached to a plane by Cole Rise.
Thanks to Juan Calderon for sharing this video. Shot on a Flip using the underwater case. What makes it different is the use of Animoto to create moving video boxes and screen wipes.
Animoto is a simple to use online service: just add video, stills, text (or any combination), choose a music track and wait for the result. Animoto creates a unique video every time which you can embed on your own website or social media page. Its’ free but you can also subscribe to a premium edition for business use.
This is an unusual Video that uses slow motion and reverse motion really well. I wanted to discover more from the Director.
DISCLOSURE: This interview will make you laugh!
Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Jason Biggart and I live in San Diego, California (hence JasoninSD on YouTube). If I told you my job it would bore you to death and make your eyes roll back in your head but I do love to make and edit videos as a hobby and an artistic outlet. If it were fifty years ago I would be that guy with the Super 8 and projector set up ready to bore everyone with my home movies.
What is Halle Bop?
Hale Bopp Blues is the song. It’s by my favorite band “Clutch”. It’s a song put out by them on a “rare and unreleased” album. Like most of my videos, I either film something and think of the music in my head or I listen to the music and get a vision. I was in my car one day, this song came on and it was so slow and heavy all I could think of was me landing from a jump in slow motion and that’s what I did. Oh, and Hale Bopp is a comet. “Clutch” tends to have abstract lyrics that talk about Wookies, chupacabra, yetis, things you have to look up on wikipedia to figure out what they are talking about.
