This video is kind of intriguing, it’s filmed during the making of “We are the Hartmans”.
A Flip Video on hand at a movie shoot is useful to build some pre-release buzz. Don’t worry too much about the tech quality, it’s not the actual movie! Better to shoot the atmosphere than miss out on some juicy content for the Web marketing effort.

This is the first time I’ve spotted a Rent-a-Flip service. Normally rental facilities focus on more expensive cameras but if you are in need of one or more Flip Ultra’s for a test or an event then check out Tech Rent in Oklahoma.
fotopol is a new concept for a fixed camera mounting system. The fotopol mounts can be fixed permanently at scenic locations or on cruise ships to provide visitors with a camera mount for group photos or videos. This ensures no-one ever misses out on appearing in the picture. No need to give your camera to a complete stranger.
As the flip uses a standard tripod screw mount you could fix your flip to the fotopol and record your latest video blog (assuming there is no queue).
I own a Black Flip Ultra HD (+ other Flips). The surface of the panels is a rubbery matte texture. Do you own a White Flip Ultra HD is it the same or is it a glossy surface?

I feel terrible for this couple so have decided to publish their Craigslist Ad.

Thanks to @karenngml for sharing this photo. The Flip was recently launched in Singapore by Actor Nathaniel “Nat” Howho was named as the first Flip for Good Ambassador for Singapore. Nat came up with this design for his Flip Mino.
The “Flip for Good” initiative for Asia Pacific starts off in Singapore with plans to expand it to Oceania and other parts of Southeast Asia in the next 12 months. Originally launched in 2007, the programme is a donor-matching initiative designed to put the power of online video sharing to work for non-profit organisations worldwide to help achieve their goals.
The programme worldwide has supported more than 1,200 charitable organisations working across a diverse set of causes including youth development, poverty alleviation, conservation, and more. It aims to empower individuals and social entrepreneurs to use their social influence and outreach to help share moving stories and change the world.
Hey, just a quick note. You may have noticed some changes around here. In order to expand this blog I have had to move from a little old England .co.uk to a heavyweight .com address otherwise google will never love me enough!
The people who own myflip.com in deepest South America never responded to my emails to buy it so I had to change the blogs name slightly. Today is day one of lovemyflip.com!
I reckon its’ a great name that keeps some of the old name but adds to it. I’ve seen a lot of tweets where flip users write “Love My Flip” so it seems to fit. Any previous links and bookmarks should work. I’m still looking into the new RSS feed. Subscribers to my e-book/newsletter will still receive my emails as normal.
Thanks for your continued support and stay tuned for even more Flip related tips, news and interviews.
I’m still working on the logo. What do you make of it? (Be kind I did it myself!).
