I just spotted that Google Images has had a makeover. Above is a screengrab for a search I did on ‘Flip Video’. The new results page allows you to view 1,000 images in one scrolling page before you have to moves to a new page.  The thumbnails are bigger which helps you evaluate more easily and there are new keyboard shortcuts (page up/page down) to make searching quicker.

When you do click on an image the  picture appears, full size, in a lightbox above a greyed-out version of the page. Nice touch Google.
