Avatron have come with this clever App for the Apple iPad that allows you to hook it up to your Mac and use the iPad as a second monitor.

The Air Display iPad Application connects to your Mac via WiFi, it also has secondary functions letting you use the iPad as a mouse and to launch applications on your Mac. The soon to be released App will be priced at $9.99.


Having a second monitor is really handy for editing your Flip Videos. So if you are working off your 15inch Macbook you can use the entire screen for the edit windows and timeline and use the iPad to display your source files, music bins etc. It’s much easier to cut when you have a bigger timeline to work on.
